Service Description

Through this service aquaculture license is issued for the establishment and operation of an aquaculture farm valid for one years from the issuance date

Service Procedures

To apply for a service over any of the service channels, you should register in the digital services system From here

Fill out the e-form
Electronic payment of the fees
Review the application and complete the procedures electronically
Inspection
Issuing the required license

Service Fees

500 AED issuance or annual renewal of license approval to establish an aquaculture production farm

Required Documents

Copy of valid trade license or approval of trade name from the local competent authorities
Environmental license or approval from the environmental competent authority

Terms and Conditions

The applicant must comply with the following:

Provide an appropriate storage for fish feed which meets hygiene and safety requirements
Keep a record of veterinary treatments used
Do not release cultured species in the marine environment without the Ministry’s approval
Do not dump any liquid discharges from the farm into the environment
Dispose of plastic, paper, and other waste of aquaculture farms in the appropriate locations
Comply with the health requirements specified by the competent authority
