Transfer ownership of species listed in CITES Appendices

About the Service

Through this service, you can transfer the ownership of live animal and plant species and their derivatives that listed in CITES Convention Appendices from a customer to another via the electronic system.

Service Process

  1. Fill out the electronic form

  2. Review the application and complete the procedures electronically

  3. Transfer the species or specimen from customer account to another account electronically.

Conditions & Requirements

Request type: Transfer from my account to someone else's account 

  1. The transferred species or specimen must be registered in the owner's account.
  2. The new owner must have an account in the electronic system of the Ministry.

Request type: Transfer from someone else's account to my account (only for falcons)

  1. The applicant must have an account in the Ministry system.
  2. The system sends a notification to the original owner to take action in transferring the falcon to the applicant's account through a text message on the phone and an email containing a link for acceptance or rejection.
  3. If the request exceeds one month from the date of submission without any action taken by original owner, the request will be automatically canceled by the system.
