Renew accreditation for a slaughterhouse outside the UAE

About the Service

Through this service, the accreditation of a slaughterhouses outside UAE are renewed for slaughtering animals and poultry includes meat shredding and storage facilities in order to allow the export of animal meat and poultry meat slaughtered to UAE (valid for one year starting from the renewal date)

Service Process

1. 1. Create the application electronically
2. 2. Evaluating the application and complete the procedures electronically
3. 3. Issuing the Renewal of the slaughterhouse accreditation certificate electronically

Required Documents

1. 1. Certificate of registration / license of the slaughterhouse issued by the relevant veterinary and / or food control authorities in the country of origin
2. 2. Valid Certificate of application of food safety management system & quality management system Internationally recognized issued by:
3. a. The relevant authorities in the country of origin. or;
4. b. A certification body having a legal office in the same country of origin of the slaughterhouse
5. and approved by the relevant authorities in the country of origin to run their conformity assessments & certification activities. or;
6. c. A certification body having a legal office in the same country of origin of the slaughterhouse & this office, in particular, is accredited by an
7. accreditation body in the same country of origin that is internationally recognized & has a full membership in the International Accreditation Forum (IAF)
8. & provided that the scope of accreditation covers FSMS & QMS that is/are specified in the certificate issued to the slaughterhouse. or;
9. d. A certification body having a legal office in the same country of origin of the slaughterhouse & this office, in particular, is accredited by an accreditation body in UAE
10. that is internationally recognized & has a full membership in the International Accreditation Forum (IAF)
11. & provided that the scope of accreditation covers FSMS & QMS that is/are specified in the certificate issued to the slaughterhouse. or;
12. e. A certification body having a legal office in the same country of origin of the slaughterhouse & this office, in particular, is accredited by an accreditation body that is
13. internationally recognized & has a full membership in the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) with the following conditions:
14. i. provided that the scope of accreditation covers FSMS & QMS that is/are specified in the certificate issued to the slaughterhouse.
15. ii. The certification body is listed in the IAF website
16. 3. Valid certificate of accreditation for certification body in case of 2 (b), 2 (c) , 2 (d) or 2 (e)
