Import of veterinary raw materials

About the Service

This service allows obtaining approval for the import of raw materials for veterinary medical products from outside the country.

Service Process

  1. To Import:

    3. Issuing import permits electronically

        To Release:

        1. Fill out the electronic form
        2. E-payment
        3. Checking the documents electronically
        4. Virtual inspection of the consignment
        5. Issuing the release permit electronically

            • Purchase invoice
            • Certificate of origin
            • Certificate of analysis

            Conditions & Requirements

              1. The raw materials shall be approved in the Emirates Drug Establishment lists.
              2. The facility must have a license for trading and manufacturing food supplements (import and export of food supplements/feed additives or a food supplement/feed additives factory) or a license for veterinary preparation facilities (veterinary pharmaceutical warehouse).
              3. The permission is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. This check of the consignment at the port of entry upon arrival to the State and its release shall ensure compliance with the import permit and the necessary technical specifications and specifications.

            Service Fees

            100 AED Request to issue a permit to import a consignment of veterinary raw materials for medical products used for veterinary purposes. 500 AED Request to release a consignment of veterinary raw materials for medical products used for veterinary purposes.
