Import of animal products and byproducts

About the Service

Through this service, it is agreed to import animal products or by-products from outside the country and obtain a valid import permit for a period of 30 days from the date of issuance. These imported animal products or by-products are examined at the entry port and released after ensuring that they comply with the import permit and the necessary technical specifications

Service Process

1. To obtain import permission: 1. Fill out the electronic form 2. E - Payment 3. Issuing the permit electronically
2. To release the consignment: 1. Fill out the electronic form 2. E - Payment 3. Checking the documents electronically 4. Physical inspection 5. Issuing the permit electronically

Required Documents

1. Import: No documents required
2. Release: 1. Certificate of origin issued by the competent authority/or CITES certificate in case of CITES –products and by-products
3. 2. A customs declaration showing the consignment data 3. Bill of lading showing the delivery data
4. In addition to the above documents, it is necessary to provide documents for some of the shipment according to the following:
5. •For consignment of non-treated animal products and by-products: certified veterinary health certificate issued by the competent veterinary authorities
6. and in accordance with the approved models with the exporting countries
7. • For the consignment of animal products and by- products Treatment: Certificate of treatment (thermal, chemical or salts) issued by the competent authority
