Service Description

Through this service, it agreed to import horses permanently or temporarily from outside the country and obtain a temporary import permit that is valid for a period of ten days.

Service Procedures

To apply for a service over any of the service channels, you should register in the digital services system From here

To obtain import permission:

Fill out the electronic form
E - Payment
Issuing the Permit electronically

To release the consignment:

Fill out the electronic form
E - Payment
Physical examination and laboratory test
Issuing the release permit electronically

Service Fees

400 AED Request permission to import horses per head
500 AED Request for the release of horses per head

Required Documents

Import:

A copy of the laboratory examination from the exporting country
Copy of the horse passport
Vaccination document
Copy of the owner’s passport / ID
No objection from the Emirates Arabian Horse Association in the event that the horse is Arab

Release (Permanent importation):

Import permit
attested veterinary health certificate issued by the competent veterinary authorities
A copy of the laboratory test issued by the United Arab Emirates
