    The community farming is one of agricultural methods that employ in an integrated manner what can be exploited from community resources such as spaces in residential areas and roofs of buildings and educational institutions to develop and expand agricultural activity and diversify it and benefit from it to serve the community and educate it with the promotion of environmental benefits, The community farming initiative aims to promote the culture of agriculture and food production among community members and to raise a generation that contributes to the development of sustainable agriculture in the UAE.

    Enhancing efficiency of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment website



    As part of efforts to develop the website of Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, we seek to know level of satisfaction

    of the public with our website, using a short questionnaire published on the website. The questionnaire shall appear on a small window attached to the main page of the Ministry's website. Ministry of Climate Change and Environment invites all users to participate in that questionnaire. It shall help the Ministry fulfill customers' expectations about accessing information and services, making their experience in related fields a useful one. Goal of Consultation The goal of the consultation is to take opinions and proposals of the webpage visitors in a simple way to develop the website, serve visitors' needs and provide them with easier tools. Decisions exepected as a result of consultation Ministry of Climate Change and Environment shall implement some proposals to improve its website.     Ministry of Climate Change and Environment shall implement some proposals to improve its website. This improvement shall be based on a recommendation from the concerned team. The recommendation shall depend on the available factors, including 


    opinions of the public shown in answers to the questionnaire published on the website.

    About the subject

    Ministry of Climate Change and Environment launched the ‘Mawroothna’ initiative, under which Emiratis working in the in the fields of fishery and agriculture can avail monetary benefits. Mawroothna is Arabic for our heritage.

     

    The ministry launched the initiative to protect the heritage of fishery and agriculture by helping the Emiratis financially. Under the initiative, Emiratis in fishery and agriculture would be issued the ‘Mawroothna’ benefits’ card which entitles them to discounts and bargains at various stores, hospitals, hotels etc. The card works in cooperation and partnership with the private sector.

    What you can expect

    Ministry of Climate Change and Environment invites all participants to offer their opinions in this consultation. The ministry shall discuss opinions of the public and make changes to the card according to their opinions. It promises to consider these opinions in its decision-making mechanism to improve its services in this field. One of the expected decisions as a result of this consultation shall focus on: improvement of the services provided to citizens, to increase satisfaction and happiness of the customers.

    Subject of the survey:

    As part of our endeavors to upgrade our smart services and increase their user base, we seek to know the public's opinion in the development of a smart app. for trading in livestock (sheep, goats, cows, etc.), and their meat.
     

    Purpose:

    Getting the public’s feedback on developing a smart service.



    Expected outcome:
     

    Based on the outcome of this survey, the Ministry will consider public feedback and reflect the required changes on the smart services, getting more people to opt for them.

    As part of our endeavors to upgrade our e-Services and increase their user base, we seek to know how satisfied and acquainted our customers are with MOCCAE e-Services, through a customer satisfaction survey.


    Purpose:


    Knowing the public’s level of satisfaction and acquaintance with MOCCAE e-Services.
    Expected outcome:
     
    Based on the outcome of this survey, the Ministry will consider public feedback and reflect the required changes on the e-Services, getting more people to opt for them.

    To improve the effectiveness of awareness campaigns organized by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment  , the

    Ministry will launch a survey for  the concerned public  (fishermen, fish traders, fish market visitors,  municipalities and concerned  authorities).  The survey will help the ministry know the awareness of public about the campaign and work on improving the methods of dissemination of information.

    About the subject



    The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment drafted a Ministerial decision on the conditions regulating the import and transit of live animals, birds and some other species with torn skin and its products  and waste. The Ministry has permitted its dealers to share their opinions before issuing the decision.
