Brief:

MOCCAE supports and enhances the sustainability of the fisheries and agriculture in the UAE. To enhance collaboration and address challenges faced by key stakeholders, the Ministry holds regular meetings with fishermen and farmers. These meetings aim to gather feedback, identify sector-specific challenges and explore solutions to improve productivity, sustainability and economic viability.

Objectives:

• Engage directly with fishermen and farmers to understand their concerns and needs.
• Identify challenges related to regulations, market access, resource management, and sustainability.
• Develop actionable recommendations to enhance sectoral growth and resilience.

Process:

Through councils held periodically throughout the year

Expected Outcomes:
